so i have 6 friends, and i need gift ideas. my mom is making me spend my own money for the first time (i’m a teenager) and i don’t know what to get them!!!

i’m on a budget, and i was hoping to get each person a gift under . i want advice from actual teens please or a teen to tell me what they would want for christmas etc.

please help me out!!

Its just around the corner and I have no ideas. She is not tech savvy so that rules out a good amount of things. She likes angels but I get the feeling she has enough of them to last her a life time and I wanted to make a change for once.

Money is of no concern to me but may be an issue at a certain amount.

If anyone has any ideas I would be happy to read them. If you have no ideas just please put what you think would be a nice gift.

i have money but idk what to get her, i spent like 4 hrs at the mall yesterday and didn’t buy a thing!

I hope this doesn’t turn into anything long haha. But my mother-in-law can drive me absolutely crazy sometimes.

To start off.. We get along pretty well, but not as well as we could because there have been a couple of times in the past where she and my husband were in an argument and she blew up and said some things about me that I did not appreciate at all. My husband is in the Army and we live in Colorado and she’s in New York so we don’t get to see her often. My family is here in Colorado because this is where we met and got married. She lays the long distance grandmother guilt trip on him all of the time. I understand she wants to be closer to see the baby and everything but she always talks about how we get to spend all the time with my family and never with theirs. It gets so old. She also borrows money from us and never pays it back. She just recently bought a brand new car 3 weeks after we lent 0 to her. So that has caused some tension too because we can’t afford to pay our bills and hers as well, especially with a baby coming.

Well she plans on coming out here after the baby is born which is totally fine with me but my husband leaves for Iraq 30 days after the baby is born. So I’d like to have as much alone time as a family as we possibly can. She wants to wait a week or two after the baby is born to give us time to adjust and everything. But she just told me that she plans on coming for 2 weeks!! I don’t know if I can handle 2 weeks. I will appreciate the help and I know she wants to spend time but I feel like it might be too much.

I was just hoping for opinions on what to say or do? Should I let her come that long.. The next time we get to see her won’t be for a while. I know I’ll be able to buck up and handle it if need be but I was just looking for opinions on what you would do in this situation?

My mom’s birthday is in two days, and I haven’t had an opportunity to go out and get something for her! And I don’t have any money…and I don’t have time to buy her something. So any good craft ideas I can make for her? And plz no scrapbook ideas because i did that last year.
And no jewelry cuz she already has a ton.

My mom’s birthday is on monday, and I would love some ideas for gifts. I asked her personally what she would like, and she stressed to me that she didn’t want me wasting my money on her, even though I disagreed – A LOT lol

So I’m making the card myself (I can make handmade cards since I have all the Equipment), so what other cheap things can I get her?

I’ve thought of the following:
> Buying her a book (I’ll go on amazon on her computer to see what she’s been looking at) I have a voucher for a bookstore, so that would drop the price of whatever book it is by
> Getting some chocolate
> Bath stuff (There’s a shop nearby which sells it for pretty cheap)

So anymore ideas? She loves gardens (although she can’t do gardening since there’s no garden and she doesn’t like plants indoors), old homes, bath stuff.

i usually don’t get her anything big, i always gave her a card or something from the dollar store LOL! but now that i’m more grown up and I have more money I want to know what I should get. she already has a bunch of perfumes and a new watch and the kitchen supplies she needs. i dont want to get her clothes because i dont know her size. i was thinking maybe a gift card but whats a good amount?

Mother’s Day is just around the corner! I NEED ideas for cheap nice looking stuff. I’m young so money is a slight problem….

My daughter just turned nine and is about to start her period. She has been complaining of her back hurting and more recently of her stomach as well. The moods swings have become unbearable. We have talked about this and I bought her the best book about how her body is changing. She’s just too young! Anybody else dealing with this? Advice?
We have had many talks and we read the book together. She also has been wearing a training bra since age 6 because she was shining through her shirt. This all just alarms me because she is so young. I didn’t start unitl I was 12. I have talked to her pediatrician and she reassures that this is normal but I just worries me. Am I overreacting?

BTW, the name of the book is " The care and keeping of you" by Valorie Schaefer. This is an awesome book for young girls. It explains every thing from brushing their teeth properly to periods and pubic hair. It was woth the money. Avialable at walmart.com
