Macys yes and nordstroms, AE, Aerie, bath & Body works, others 2 anyone no of good deals. I’m probably shopping for mom maybe dad 7 yr old , 15 yr old teen, and 13 or 14 yr old teen any good gift ideas of tips on great sales?

My daughter has been in daycare for a few months now and there are a few gossipping mothers who always seem to be asking nosy questions and saying things like, "My daughter started eating table food at seven months… why is YOUR daughter still eating baby food? Isn’t she nine months now? My doctor said…"

I’m sick of this! I’m raising my daughter on my terms and by my doctor’s advice — not by what other people say or do. How do I politely, yet effectively tell them to bug off?

well I"m 11 and I really want to do something for my mom on mothers day.I was thinking of making some of those pens with silk flowers on top for her office.Does anyone have any other inexpensive ideas?

I have been a Nanny for a wonderful family for over three years now. They treat me very well, always giving me a VERY generous Christmas bonus and really nice birthday gifts. The mothers birthday is this weekend and besides making something for her with the children I am trying to figure something appropriate to give to her. I have already given he chocolates, gift certificates to restaurants, and free nights of babysitting. Can anyone help me come up with a new thoughtful?

Any ideas for a gift each for my Mom and Dad?
nothing fancy but something nice. I dont have a whole lot of money to spend!
My dad likes the outdoors. if that helps any, my Mom is pretty simple, I got her earrings last year.

I am so upset that my son is leaving tom. for boot camp
I know he is a big boy but I have been taking care of him for 18 years ( thats a damn long time) and poof one day its over. I am so worried . My husband is always away from home at work so it was us for a long time. I also have a 17 year old daughter that will be leaving NEXT year. How do you other mothers deal with this?

We are making a trip to the zoo for my four year old’s 5th birthday in a couple months and I was wondering if anyone has anytips. We are leaving year old baby brother with Gram cause it will be an ALL day trip and we want it to be enjoyable for Connor it’s his day. Plus it will be some big brother /parent time which doesn’t happen much since baby came along and he’s beena good sport about it. We will have cake and a few presents on his actual b day. So the trip will just be a day to the zoo (with lots of spending money for the gift shop he’s already informed relatives to send cash not presents isn’t he smart) anyway I’m not having a party at the zoo but I haven’t been since I was little and anyone who has gone with kids I’d love tips and advice. especially if you’ve been to zoo atlanta in georgia. Any help appreciated.
Oh if you have been to zoo ztlanta do they have alligators or crocs Connor is demanding to know as they are his favorites. Anything on animal planet or discovery kids on alligators or crocs gets watched and recorded in this house.
This will be just my husband and I taking our son no others are coming along and the main reason I am calling this an all day trip is cause we have a bit of a drive to get there and then home. So it will take up the whole day but not all of it will actually be spent in the zoo. I’m bringing dvds for the ride since we have a player in our suv. Thanks for all the great answers so far. I am loving the whole disposable camera idea!!! Also I do have an awesome stroller not to bulky. I loved the advice to remove the bar and let him ride so he can get out and look when he wants. My stroller also has a great parent console on top for drinks and cameras and the like so I will definately pull it out for the trip I ‘ll have to convince him to look at it like a safari truck and not a stroller cause he will not stand for riding in a stroller even if hes tired (he’d rather ride piggy back and neither of us are up for that all over the zoo. anyway thanks to all I got alot of ideas and I’m excited !

A couple months ago, my mom died of cancer. mothers day is coming up soon and 5th grade (my grade) still does mothers day gifts what should i do?

I have no idea what to get my mom and dad. They are so hard to buy for! Give me anything that you can think of. Thanks!

My daughter is 21 months old, and she’s always been smaller than the growth charts want her to be. Yesterday we took her for a weight check and now she’s so far off the chart that my doctor wants to send her to a specialist. She is healthy looking, not malnourished, very active, and she eats like a normal toddler. Also, developmentally she’s perfect in every way except for her weight gain. So she’s definitely not autistic or anything like that. My mother has celiac disease, so I wonder if that could be what’s going on. Anyway, I’m kind of freaking out, and starting to feel like I’ve failed as a mother. Anyone got some wisdom/advice/suggestions for me?
