I am going to also get her a membership to this book of the month club, but I wanted something a little more personal that is… cheap, yes I said it, cheap, but still nice and pretty. So I need a few ideas on handmade gifts for her. I dont have pics of us together or anything so no frames/collages ect, but maybe gift basket ideas, or anything really, I have a lot of free time at work so thats not too much of an issue, however the bday is this sat so nothing thatll take too long. Also, not that it matters too much but shes turning 67, has just retired, wants grandchildren yesterday and is very active for her age.

I had people come in today to give her a manicure and pedicure, they will come and do her hair tomorrow….she is very excited, she has always loved Birthday parties…..she has not been well lately, but her planning her Birthday party has put the sparkle back in her eye….what can I give her? I have thought about this for the last 6 months, everyone has been asking her what she wants and she says 10 more years…..but any ideas on a special special gift for the best mother, grandmother, greatgrandmother, mother in law, friend in the world?

Its just around the corner and I have no ideas. She is not tech savvy so that rules out a good amount of things. She likes angels but I get the feeling she has enough of them to last her a life time and I wanted to make a change for once.

Money is of no concern to me but may be an issue at a certain amount.

If anyone has any ideas I would be happy to read them. If you have no ideas just please put what you think would be a nice gift.

My mother in law is a nursery school and piano teacher, she gets tons of trinkets and ornaments, I have about to get her a gift. Anythign I could make for her, she can make better (she is crafty and an amazing cook) Any ideas??

I always end up getting my mom something useless for her birthday. This year I want the gift to be special and unique. My parents collect antiques but I dont know anything about them so purchasing her something antique, wont really work. Not to mention, they are very particular. This will also be her 50th birthday. I think the question is pretty explainatory. I want to make something for my mom’s birthday rather than buy it, because I feel it would mean more. The only thing is I don’t know what and I was looking for some ideas.
